My Teaching Goals

Inspiring students or learners by

  • believing in them and in their potentials. Give opportunities to everyone time and safe environment to participate in classroom discussion, either they are fast or slow learners,

  • being extremely encouraging, especially to those students who struggle in class or seem non-responsive, by giving them a one-to-one help if necessary, and convince them that they can do the tasks and be successful,

  • ensuring that the students are the ones who are learning or working in classes, not just listening to my lectures, and

  • endeavouring to make learning fun through exciting rapport and interesting active learning activities.

Promote student-centred learning environment in classrooms for a meaningful continual engagement and good grasp on the fundamentals of the subject matter.

Encourage students to work in pairs or teams in order to improve their interpersonal, interactive and socializing skills.

Assist students prepare themselves with statistical knowledge and intellectual skills, critically and creatively as part of their lifelong learning, and make them aware and ready for their future career and impactful contribution to the society.

Provide students opportunities to improve themselves by giving them regular formative assessments, either graded or ungraded, and provide feedbacks immediately so they will have time to improve and be ready for summative assessments.

Maintain a good relation with students to create a conducive learning environment that will enable students to discuss their ideas easily.

Utilize the advancement of digital technology, such as e-learning, WhatsApp groups and Telegrams, as well as education technological tools such as Quizziz and Padlet,  for more efficient and effective continuous learning and teaching process outside classroom.
