How to fix it, firstly….. No need to be panic, your documents is save. Just follow the below to fix the problem. 😀
Step 1 : Restart your computer and boot to Safe Mode.
Dunno how to boot to safe mode? No worries… Just click here
Step 2 : Find your registery editor key first
For Windows XP & Windows 7
Click Start -> Click Run
Type regedit and Enter
For Windows 8 & Windows 10
Click Search -> Type regedit
Step 3 : Find the exact key “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList“
Click and expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Click and expand SOFTWARE
Click and expand Microsoft
Click and expand Windows NT
Click and expand CurrentVersion
Click and expand ProfileList
Step 4 : Profile with .bak is profile that can be load, currently your problem profile the .bak extension have been remove. That’s why you cannot load your profile. Locate your profile and rename the file into .bak. If there are similar file exist, rename the first .bak into .ba ( shown in picture ), and rename your profile .bak.
