Zulkarnain Ahmad Noorden received the B.Eng and M.Eng degrees in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2008 and 2009, respectively. He joined the Faculty of Electrical Engineering as a Tutor in 2008 after completing the B.Eng degree. In 2013, he completed his Ph.D degree in Regional Environment Systems (Electrical Engineering) from Shibaura Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan. Currently, he holds Senior Lecturer position at Faculty and as a Researcher at the Institute of High Voltage and High Current (IVAT), UTM. His research interests include high voltage generation & measurement, ultracapacitor materials & technology, energy storage systems, power equipment diagnosis, and solar photovoltaic system design.
