About AN/DS

 

AN/DS or Aiman Nor Izura Design Studio, was founded by Dr Aiman and Dr Nor Izura of UTM Senibina. Our aim is to instill public appreciation and understanding of architecture by focusing on spatial design, design thinking and architectural research. Our journey began during our final years of studying architecture at the Faculty of Built Environment, University Teknologi Malaysia (UTM, JB). AN/DS is constantly evolving and drawing inspiration from technology, culture and daily life to develop meaningful projects. At AN/DS, we adhere to the philosophy of simplicity and innovation. We focus on creating functional spaces and objects that also serve a purpose. We believe that design should tell a story and convey experiences. At the intersection of academia and practise, our commitment goes beyond design; we want to make a positive contribution to society. We value collaboration and collective effort in our work. The result is projects that reflect the essence of local culture.
