13th Language for Specific Purposes International Conference

After a long hiatus (of not updating my work here), I decided to take 5 minutes of my time today to write something here. Life has been busy since I reported for duty early this year. I miss my colleagues and my workplace — no kidding. Anyway, I presented a paper yesterday at the 13th LSP International Conference on a systematic literature review paper related to my research studies. Hopefully it will get published by next year, InsyaAllah. The session went well, I had a big number of audience (to my standard) and got 3 questions. It felt so good to meet other people and listened to their work and opinion too. For the sake of my own memory, putting my so-serious-when-presenting picture here, haha.

Corporate Social Responsibility – UPSR English

In March, my colleague and I were invited to give a motivational talk and to offer some tips and strategies to answer UPSR English paper at Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Indahpura 1. Big thanks to Dr Norasykin from SoE for inviting us to join this CSR program. Hope to collaborate and contribute more in the future!

Corporate Social Responsibility – English in Camp 2019

In April, my team and I had the opportunity to give back to the society by organising an English Camp for Year 6 pupils. Together with other key people from UTM, we managed to deliver our part successfully!

Special thanks to Dr Hema for her initiative to carry out this CSR, Yaya for leading the lead facis, our thoughtful colleagues who worked tirelessly to make this program enjoyable to the pupils and our energetic facis who were so committed during the program. Without all of you, I don’t think this program will be executed perfectly!

AKRI 2018

Last year, my team and I were selected to represent UTM in AKRI 2018. Alhamdulillah, we managed to grab the second place. I felt so proud of my team! Thank you for believing in us, UTM! We couldn’t do this project without your full support!
