UTM Centre for Industrial & Applied Mathematics (UTM-CIAM), Ibnu Sina Institute for Scientific and Industrial Research, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor Bahru is organizing an online competition, Malaysia Industrial Mathematical Modelling Challenge 2021 (MIMMC 2021) from 15th November 2021 until 23rd January 2022.
MIMMC2021 is a group-based competition, which offers the experience and challenge that can enhance the participants’ intellectual capabilities, knowledge, and skills in solving real-world problems through mathematical modelling. Its main objective is to encourage students to understand, analyze and solve the real industrial problems by using mathematical knowledge supervised by their advisor. Besides, the challenge is an excellent approach to the improvement of our nation in education. This competition is open to all undergraduates at any Malaysian universities or tertiary institutions.
