Programme Director, Naventran s/o Chandran said that two sub-events were held on the first day of the programme which started on November 11th 2016. The events were an Islamic Forum entitled “Who are Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah” and the selection of the final quarter of the Cybergames : Counter Strike Go.
“At the second day on November 12th, various activities were held to attract visitors. The activities carried were Mini games, Mysterious Mansion, Cake Decoration contest and colouring contest.
“Additionally, the Counter Strike Cybergames were also held at the quarterfinal, semifinal and final levels on this day,” said Naventran.
For the convenience of the visitors, we also have set up several stalls selling snacks, soft drinks and also selling cosmetics.
“Among the games provided, the Mysterious Mansion or better known as the haunted house received a warm welcome from the visitors.
“Although it was held at noon, their rooms were dark and scary. This was a game where you have to find a way out, all the while harassed by ghosts. We cannot take any sample photographs inside this mansion due to its ‘horrifying’ looks,” said Naventran.
The closing ceremony for this programme was held at Astana Hall, KTC and was officiated by KTC Principal, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Shahrul Kamal.
The main goal of the programme was to foster good relationship among residents of KTC in particular and also build a sense of belonging to UTM.
