Currently an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Management at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). I started my career in 1997 as a tutor in the UTM Kuala Lumpur campus teaching Economics subjects. I then moved to UTM Johor Bahru in 2011 after completing my Ph.D. in Technology Management.
A little bit about my educational background. I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Western Australia, Australia in 2011, an MBA in Techno-Entrepreneurship at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2001, and my undergraduate studies in Economics at the University of Arizona, USA in 1994.
My research interests lie in the areas of strategy formulation, e-business, technology innovation, economic impact, and management. I have collaborated with researchers in several other disciplines such as information management, biology, mathematics, and remote sensing through grants awarded by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education and UTM from 2013 until now.
Apart from research, I have also been involved in teaching several key management subjects throughout my career such as economics, technology management, organizational behavior, principles of management, engineering management, and other various subjects for undergraduate and master’s students.
