Use Web of Science (WOS)
Web of Science gives a quick overview of a journal’s Impact Factor, rank and quartile in the relevant subject category. The overview may not be available for all journals.
STEP 1: Enter UTM PSZ Online (https://library.utm.my/)
STEP 2: Search Web of Science
STEP 3: Click at “Journal Citation Report” (if you know journal name) or Refer 4
– Add Journal Name or
– Search any paper from any journal
STEP 4: Click at “Web of Science” (if you want to enter keyword topic straightaway, then see impact of the paper’s journal)
– To view journal impact, click at the Journal Name of the article.
STEP 5: View Journal Information
