Biography

Dr. Nur Husna Abd Wahid is a senior lecturer in the Department of Technical and Engineering Education at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), where she has been a faculty member since 2006. She earned her Ph.D. in Workforce Education & Development from Pennsylvania State University in 2016. Prior to that, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology in 2005 and a Master’s Degree in Technical and Vocational Education (Agriculture Education) in 2010, both from Universiti Putra Malaysia.

Dr. Nur Husna’s research interests encompass agricultural education, technical and vocational education and training (TVET), teacher preparation, and workplace learning/competencies. She is actively involved in integrating sustainability principles into education and community development. In December 2024, she delivered a presentation titled “Inspiring Sustainable Practices in TVET for a Greener Future through Education and Research” at the Educonnect 2024 symposium, emphasizing the role of TVET in promoting environmental sustainability.

Beyond her teaching and research roles, Dr. Nur Husna is a strong advocate for community assistance programs, actively promoting and developing initiatives that benefit society.
