Hungarian Visits to UTM KL
December 2018 was a month of Hungarian affairs for UTM KL. The AHIBS Global Dialogue returned for its third time on 3rd December 2018 featuring the Ambassador of Hungary to Malaysia, His Excellency Attila Kali. Delivering a topic on ‘Hungary – A Dynamic Partner for Malaysia in Central Europe’, the Ambassador promotes positive bilateral relations, especially under the Hungarian scholarship program – Stipendium. The event was attended by 50 participants consisting of UTM staff and students, other universities, embassies, government officers, and industries, including the Ambassador of Egypt to Malaysia. The welcoming remark was delivered by the Dean of AHIBS, Prof. Nur Naha Abu Mansor.
A larger group of Hungarian delegates returned two weeks later to engage further with UTM. Representatives from fourteen Hungarian universities, led by HE Attila, visited UTM KL on 18thDecember and were received by Pro Vice-Chancellor UTM International, Professor Dr. Nordin Yahya, together with representatives from all faculties in UTM. Participants from both counterparts shared introductions and possible areas of collaborations.

The 2nd series of HTGYE talk from 2.00-5.30 pm was honoured by the guest speaker, En. Mohd Radzi Abdul Aziz, DNP Imagingcomm Asia Sdn. Bhd., Senior Executive/Assistant Manager HR & Administration Department. The session involved 230 final year students of SHAD, SHAC and SHAF progams.
En. Mohd Radzi shared his insightful advices on facing the pre-interview and interview sessions as well as managing failure and success during interviews. The sessions were moderated by Dr. Ruzita Selamat, while Dr. Nor Zafir Md. Salleh, Dr. Siti Zaleha Omain and Dr. Mohamad Shah Kassim were among AHIBS lecturers who attended the sharing session. May the sessions benefit all the final year AHIBS students and give invaluable input in order to prepare them for the “Mock Interview Session” to be held on 22 March 2019.

GLOBAL OUTREACH PROGRAM
Going Global in Healthcare
Azman Hashim International Business School (AHIBS) conducts the Global Outreach Program by undertaking a collaborative effort with Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM).
The 2-day academic visit (February 18 – 19 2019) was participated by our first cohort of medical doctors, Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri, Negeri Sembilan (JKNNS) and accompanied by AHIBS Deputy Dean Academic & Student Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rohaida, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siti Zaleha and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nomahaza. This program aims to develop AHIBS students who are sensitive to global change and able to express their progressive ideas and innovative thinking for the betterment of the nation upon graduating from UTM programs.
