I completed my Ph.D (graduated March 2020) from Prof. Yoshida’s laboratory at the University of Hyogo, Japan, majoring in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. Prior to this, I did my master’s degree in Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam (MSc in Biomaterials) and earned my first degree at Vanderbilt University, Nashville TN, USA (B.Eng in Biomedical Eng.). My previous research interests lie in uncovering the molecular mechanism of the mammalian Golgi stress response focusing on the mucin pathway. My quest for biological science research started in biomedical research during my undergraduate where I was exposed to tissue engineering and had taken me through of few related courses like biomechanics, nanomaterials, chemistry, physics, and biology. I enjoy inter-disciplinary thinking in research, knowledge, and life. Currently, I serve Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor Bahru as a Senior Lecturer in the School of Biomedical Engineering and Health Science and planning to embark on drug delivery and biomaterials as my new interest of research.
