About Me


Dr. Intan Sazrina Saimy is a Senior Lecturer at Razak Faculty of Technology and Informatics, UTM Kuala Lumpur with specialization in Policy Studies in Groundwater Sustainability. Currently, she is the Coordinator Master Of Science, Technology and Innovation Policy, at Perdana Centre, Razak Faculty, Kuala Lumpur. She has gain experience both in academic and industry. She has the experience of holding managerial positions in previous workplace as the Deputy Dean of Research and Alliance and Head Department. During the  industry, Dr Intan was involved in major projects as the SMART Tunnel, Lebuhraya Pantai Timur and many others. Dr. Intan has the experience in teaching and interested in research involving soil and groundwater, water governance, environmental health, health promotion, sustainability, waste and wastewater and many others. Dr. Intan has taught many undergraduate and postgraduate courses within environmental science and health sciences studies for more than a decade. She often received high rating student evaluations. She had served as supervisor to many undergraduate final year projects, master courses project and being an examiner for master and PhD in research. Dr. Intan is also a recipient of many international grants representing Malaysia to international conferences and seminars. She is also a sports enthusiast and an outdoor person.
