Welcome to my academic portfolio.
I am Ir. Ts. Dr. Josilva, a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Water and Environmental Engineering within the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). I completed my Ph.D. in 2018 with a specialized focus on Non-Point Source (NPS) pollution.
My career path uniquely blends both academia and industry; before my current role at UTM, I taught at Limkokwing University and gained extensive on-the-ground engineering experience as a Site Engineer with IJM Construction and a Hospital Operations Engineer for the Ministry of Health.
Today, I draw on this diverse background to bridge the gap between rigorous academic research and practical industry standards, solving critical environmental and water resource challenges. I am currently accepting highly motivated M.Phil. and Ph.D. candidates who are eager to develop real-world engineering solutions to join my research team.
