Biography

Miss Low Lai Har is  a Japanese Language teacher and is currently attached to Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Campus, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. She obtained her Bachelor of Education majoring in Teaching Japanese as Second Language from Hiroshima University (2000) and Master of Early Childhood Education from University of Malaya (2015).

She has strong passion and interest in this profession. She has been teaching Japanese Language to students who are doing their intensive course to pursue their studies to Japan. When the Preparatory Center for Technical Studies to Japan was moved to MARA University of Technology, Shah Alam in April 2009, she was then transferred to College of Science and Technology, in 2010 she joined Language Academy. When she was attached to College of Science and Technology and the Language Academy, she was teaching Japanese as her major.  Now she is attached to Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities teaching the undergraduate students Japanese language.

She loves Japanese cultures. When she was studying in Japan, she acquired the skills in creating Ikebana formally. She also learned flower arrangement designs from the Western perspective. Japanese culture has always been her passion, especially in Ikebana. She has shared her passion for Ikebana with students and interest parties from all walks of life by providing her knowledge and lovely designs in training and sharing sessions.
