Hi everyone! Hamdi here. My full name is Mohamad Hamdi Zainal Abidin. I have received my Bachelor and Master degrees in Biotechnology from Institute of Biological Sciences, University of Malaya (UM). I then obtained my Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the same university, UM. I am currently the Senior Lecturer at the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor.I am currently exploring the potential applications of deep eutectic solvents – famously known as DES, in various fields such as nanomaterials, extraction of bioactive compounds, drug delivery, and biofuel production, all within the framework of green chemistry.
