This year, students of SKEE1223 Digital Electronic Section 03 class were given the assignment to design a logic circuit that is aimed to solve any identified problems. The students must propose the design together with schematic diagram and verify the design using simulation with Altera Quartus II software. In addition, they have to construct the circuit on the breadboard with electronic components to ensure the workability of their proposed design. The presentation session was held on 25th May in our faculty during class hours. Overall I can conclude that some students gave some great effort in solving the given assignment and could come up with brilliant ideas such as Roof Water Sweeper, Smart Street Lighting, Room Moisturizer and Quad Drone.
