Today, I have implemented a Teaching and Learning method called ‘Gallery Walk’ during my ‘Digital Electronic’ lecture. It is a one of the active and cooperative learning techniques where students are able to actively engaged in the learning process as they walked throughout the classroom. Prior to the lecture, I have divided students into 6 groups of 4 team members, and each group has to study the topic given to them. During lecture, students have to prepare a poster by group, based on the topic they have learned. Each group then is further divided into ‘Expert’ and ‘Home’ sub-group. Members from ‘Expert’ group have to stay at their poster and explain the content to other ‘Home’ members from other groups. Meanwhile, ‘Home’ groups have to walk around the class to listen to the explanation given by the ‘Expert’ group. After that, all students need to be back in their group and explain their findings to their team members. At the end of the lecture, all students need to answer reflection questions and submit the answers in group.

Overall, I believe this method of teaching an learning is able to enhance students’ understanding in the class compared to conventional lecturing technique.
