2 September 2020 – CNetS (Communication Network System) Research Group has successfully organized their very own first postgraduate colloquium that was held virtually via Webex platform.
The session started with a short welcoming speech from the Head of CNetS Research Group, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nurul Mu’azzah Abdul Latiff, followed by first technical session. During the morning technical session, six students have presented their research works in the area of big data, Internet of Things (IoT) and Software defined network (SDN).
The second technical session continued in the afternoon where another six students delivered their research works in the area of SDN, IoT and wireless body area networks. The full schedule of the colloquium can be found via this link.
All the papers presented during this colloquium will be published in a non-index proceeding. Basically, the objectives of this colloquium are threefold: a) To provide a platform for participants to disseminate their current research findings; b) To allow participants to experience in public-speaking and delivering scientific knowledge; c) To provide environments for participants to exchange ideas and knowledge, and obtain feedback of their research work.
To sum up, the objectives of this conference are successfully achieved. Feedback and questions raised by the audience are indeed very helpful for the participants to improve their research works.
