Nurul Atikah is a staff at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru. She was born in the state of Johor and is the fourth child in the family. This young and enthusiastic woman is a member of the Malaysia Institute of Chemistry and a graduate technologist of the Malaysia Board of Technologists. Previously, she has experience in handling various analytical instruments such as Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy PinAAcle 900T, High-Pressure Ion Chromatography, Fluorescence Microscope, Stereo Microscope, SPE DEX-4790 and Ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) Spectrophotometer. Besides, she also was involved in Water Quality Index (WQI) analysis that compute six parameters which are biological oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), ammoniacal nitrogen (AN), pH, dissolved oxygen (DO) and total suspended solids (TSS). Currently, she is serving in occupational safety, health and environment at UTM.
