Mohd Faizal Mohd Hamzah was educated at University of Malaya, Malaysia where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Hons.), majoring in electrical power and minor in electronic in 2007. He holds a Master in Statistic (First Class) from University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2015.
Mohd Faizal is a Senior Maintenance Engineer in NXP Semiconductors Malaysia formerly known as Freescale Semiconductors Malaysia since 2010. Mohd Faizal has a lot of experiences in System Improvement/Focus Improvement Procedures, Technical Report Writing, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Multi-Vari Studies, Preventive Maintenance Analysis, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Process Decision Program Chart (PDPC) Training, 8 Disciplines of Problem Solving, Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Six Sigma Green Belt through DMAIC approach.
As a Senior Maintenance Engineer at NXP Semiconductors Malaysia, Mohd Faizal is responsible as Asset Coordinator and leader for SAP Stockroom spare part while leading day-to-day operations issue and working closely with team engineering team to achieve daily target. Mohd Faizal is key person for any issue related to J750 tester, TEL prober and Wafer inspection machine.
Mohd Faizal began his career with NEC Semiconductors (M), known as Renesas Semiconductor (M) in 2007. The experience gained working in a Japanese-oriented organization; he has extensive knowledge in tester, handler and ball inspection machine for Ball Grid Array (BGA) product.
