  1. In my opinion, the question that I find the hardest is the question asking to describe about ourselve. This is because this question can be thrown with different intentions. For example, some intreviewer may ask this to know about our current situation or some may ask to know our characteristics. However the intreviewee may give a different answer that is not relevant for the intreviewer. Next, this question is very open so it will be difficult for the intreviwee to give the precise and concise answer that is required by them. It is difficult to narrow the sentences since there is many important information that we would like the interviewer to know about us. This will cause confusion and rambling of sentences.

  2. In my opinion, the hardest question for me to answer during the interview is “Why should we hire you?”.
This is because I cannot totally understand about the working content about my desire position. Every company will giving different task for the same position, so when I cannot understand about the ability that needed by the company and what is the empty position in that company, I may giving wrong answer like give other skills that do not required by the company during the short answer period even I have the skills that needed by the company.
And also, the answer for this question is very important during an interview. Because it normally will be the last question in the interview, so it will influence the impression from HR manager and it will also affect the decision of the HR manager to accept me or not, therefore it make me feel difficult to answer.

  3. In my opinion, the hardest question to be find in interview session is ‘what are your strengths and weaknesses?’ This is because when someone is desperate to get into the job, they probably will telling more about the strengths and tend to lie rather than to admit the weaknesses just to impress interviewer to pick them. As an example, the common answer when interviewer ask for capabilities to do multiple job is they are willing and sacrifice theirself as long as they get the job. But in some way, interviewee can telling them that they are able to do multiple job, however, the results might be different in terms of qualities when they just need to focus in one job in one time. By then, interviewer might be consider to have essential qualities and skills as long as it is actively improving. In conclusion, interviewee should need some tricks and tips with relevant point in order to describe their weaknesses.

  4. In my point of view, the question which I found the most hardest to answer is ‘Where do you see yourself in five years from now’. It is an unsure situation where I would be working in future. Also, it is a kind of question which should be answered using my imagination. Apart from that, the way to answer this question also can make me confused as I do not have any proper plans or ideas about my future. Besides, it can create a different opinion between the interviewer and the candidate when question the has been asked. The interviewer might expect a positive or a different kind of answer from the candidate, but in the end the answer given by the candidate would be a totally different one.

  5. In my point of view, the question which I found the hardest to answer during an interview session is ‘why do you want this job?’. It is because the question is open and it is a bit difficult to give a correct and precise answer. As an interviewee, it can be confusing whether I want to thruthfully give my personal reasons or give answer related to the company which also include in complimenting the company. I can try to give reasons that I want the job because of the benefits or how difficult to land a job these day because of the economy, etc. However, I fear I might make the interviewers feel uncomfortable and they might expect a more peculiar answer.
Next, I am perplexed on how to give compliments on how the company works which is unfamiliar to me. It is difficult as I might need to prepare and do some surveys about the company. I need to know the keywords related to what the company does. Obviously, the interviewers want different answers from each interviewees which makes it is difficult to give an appealing answer to the question. I also need to master well in using conjunction in my sentences. So that I will not rumble on my words.
In conclusion, the question might seem easy to answer but if I am not prepared, it is the hardest question to answer.

  6. In my opinion, the first question in the video which is “can you tell me about yourself” is the most hardest question that we might get in an interview session. It is because that question too general for us to give an answer based on interviewer’s expectation. The answer can be your life background, also can be your education background or it can be work history. So this question might get us gives the wrong answer. We might give an unecessasry answer and we will wasting our time with unnecessary words. Other than that, we also do not know how long we must tell about ourself. Is it from we study until now or just a bit after the study. Thus, this question give us a lot of confused in order for us to answer it.

  7. Personally, I feel that the hardest question to answer among the 8 common interview question would be “Can you tell me about a time when you demonstrated ___?” Although the video did taught about using the STAR method. However, I find it hard to be prepared for this question as we will not have an idea on what the interviewer would want us to describe about. The higher degree of ambiguity of this question make me feel that this is a question that could only be answer spontaneously, and at the same time we are required to immediately apply the STAR rule, also not to mention that we need to keep our answer concise and relevant.
As a conclusion, I feel that this question holds the highest difficulty to answer as in comparison to other questions due to the need for an impromptu relevant answer that may please the interviewer.

  8. I think the hardest question to answer in an interview is “tell me a little about yourself”. It seems like a very easy question but many don’t know the trap that lies behind this question. This is because most of the candidates usually tend to start talking about themself. For example , their name , age , whereabouts, education and working life. Little do they know that all of the details given is already in their curriculum vitae and resume. The interviewers are actually expecting to know something which is out of the documents presented. Eventhough candidates prepare well before their interview, such a general question might cause them to start talking about unnecessary details. They also lose a clear direction to speak of something. So, a candidate will have to be very careful when answering this question and avoid being carried away in a wrong direction. Therefore, I feel that this is a very tricky and hard question to answer.

  9. In my opinion, the most difficult question to answer during an interview session is what are your strengths and weaknesses? Telling about your own weakness is very difficult as it can cause interviewers to lose interest in giving us a job. For example, it is weird if someone who is negligent but applying to work in accounting field that requires a high focus on the job or applying for work as an architect but weak in creativity and skill. Therefore, this question poses a great challenge to the interviewees to tell their weaknesses because of fear of losing work. Although there is no right answer but interviewers are looking something in it. In this video, I found that we could overcome our weaknesses by talking how you have conquered the weaknesses. For example, you are a careless man but you are calm to face of a stressful situation.

  10. In my experience,I had attend many interviews and face quite a lot of difficult questions during the interview session. Personally,I feel this one question ‘Why should I hire you?’ is the hardest question for me and make me not that confident in front of the panel. Even after told about my strength and qualifications that I had,the panel or the boss still raise a question that why should he hire me. This make me little nervous and also self doubt that what am I really capable of. Sometimes I will repeat again about my strength clearly just to answer their question. After I graduate from matriculation,I went to restaurant for a bartender job. The boss ask me the question even after I explain that im experienced and share about my strength. May be the boss is expecting something unique element in me which is not in the resume. But I feel insult when someone ask me that why should they hire me even after I told about myself to them. Based on my experience, this is most hardest question that I ever faced. The interviewer may already decide to reject me in advance,so that they ask the tricky question in order to end the session as quick as possible. As a conclusion,I feel that we should know about our self clearly before attending an interview. I believe this will make you realise intrinsically that who you are and also make you feel confident in front of anybody.

  11. In my opinion, the hardest question for me to answer during interview is “what are your strengths and weakness.” This is because different people have different view when answering this question, maybe the answer for me is strengths, but for other people, they think that is a weakness. For example, my strengths is when I done my job, I will double check for my work to make sure that was not mistake in my work, but maybe for others people view, double check the work is wasting their time because they feel the time I using to double check my work, they can use the time to done for other job. The next reason is we need very careful to answer for our weakness because maybe the company cannot accept for our weakness and we might lose the job when we answering this question. Lastly, the reason is we must make sure our strengths are more than weakness during answering the question because if our weakness is more than our strengths, this will give the interviewer a bad impression. In conclusion, Interviewee must very careful to answer for their strengths and weakness question, they must make sure their strengths are more than their weakness.

  12. In my opinion, the interview question that I find to be the hardest is asking “why do you want this job?” Of course the interviewer will ask about some basic information of the company and also the position that you have apply at the company. This is because the interviewer want to know what information or knowledge that you have to get the position. From that, we have to make some research to get an idea about it. The research or knowledge that you get must be strong to make sure the interviewer believe that you can be responsible and contribute with the work given by the company. For example, if you apply for be an auditor, you should have some knowledge about the skill that an auditor should have and what needs to do. To be an auditor, you must have a good communication skill to communicate with client and experiences.

  13. I think the hardest question to answer in an interview is “tell me a little about yourself.” It seems like a very common and easy question to answer but actually it requires interviewees to describe himself or herself clearly. Therefore, this question is not just required you to simply introduce yourself. For example, the interviewees must tell something very special to get a good impression from the interviewer. In addition, it is difficult to answer well when you just given a few minutes but you are required to introduce yourself from many different perspectives. Many interviewees will use up their times just talking about their background instead of something that is different from other interviewees. Moreover, sometimes interviewees also don’t know which perspective the interviewer really wanted to know as they are only given a simple question. In this case, the interviewees will not give a satisfying answer which is expected by the interviewer.

  14. In my opinion, I think that the hardest question to answer in an interview session is ‘why should we hire you’. This is because I not a person can easily defined and promote my strength and skills, therefore this question is very hard for me to answer. Although I have a certain education and some working experience but every company has different way of working, before enter the company, I even do not know that way of working of the company are it suitable for me, the task are given it is suitable for me, everything are unknown. So, I can’t very confident to answer the interviewer that company should hire me because I also cannot very confirm that I really want to work for this company. Interviewee must careful answer the question because HR manager will according the answer of this question to decide whether hire or reject interviewee.

  15. Personally, the most hardest question to answer is “why should we hire you?”. It is obviously that they want to know my strength and what can I do if I get this job. I will answer this question by listing my strength but in the same time, I will be confuse because I do not actually know what kind of person they want to hire to fulfill their number of workers. Maybe I can say that I can do accounting very well but the fact that the company already have few qualified accounting. Most of my strength that I list is not really occur just because to impress the interviewer which makes me loose confident. In fact, I will describe the strength that is not in me because I think the strength that I have is very common with other people and I hope that I can do better if I get the job.

  16. From my point of view, I think the question on ‘where do you see yourself five years from now’, is a difficult question for me. This is because I will tend to ramble on the context since I do not have any near plans in the future to think about. I am the type of person who likes to go with the flow and not hanker for big future plans. In other words, my plans are not amusing enough so I personally find it hard to share with others, especially to the interviewer. I will feel belittle because the interviewer might not be amazed with my response on this question. I am also afraid that I might jumble up my plans and it would seem confusing to the interviewer, because he/she might tend to think that I may be unorganized with what I am about to accomplish.

  17. From the video, i found out the hardest question to answer is “where do you see yourself five year from now?”. For a person who do not have a clear mind they might say they will still working with the company as they can saw a loyal side of the person. This question required us to think wisely about our future which can be a hint to the interviewer how we are actually in the future. Thus, we never know what can be happen through the five years and even the changes in economic, environment and lifetime. All those factor can influence the future of the company, while the person being interview cannot predict what will happen in the future. We can tell what we want to be in the future such as the department manager, the CEO and many other great position answer. And i found out it is hard for me to find the proper solution to this question. From the video, it gives answer to the question which is to avoid unnecessary details, give full sentences and make your points clear.

  18. In my opinion, the hardest interview question is “why should we hire you?”. This question indirectly ask about my skills and strengths hence I have to tell them why I think I am the best candidate that they should choose. This question is quite tricky because I do not know what are the qualification they are looking for. By answering this question, it will tend to make me compliment myself in front of the interviewer. I am afraid that I might exaggerating my skills and strengths when I am not good enough. I do not want to be hired by lying about my strengths as it will be difficult for me in the future if I am employed. However, if I answer the question by telling my moderate skills, it might not satisfy the qualification to be hired in the company. I will lose the chance to get hired.

  19. In my point of view, the hardest question to answer during interview among 8 interview question is ‘tell me a little about yourself’. It sound like a simple question but it is very tricky to answer. In common, the candidate making mistake by focusing on explaining about their name, age, education background and so on that are already stated in their resume. With this kind of open question, the candidate should focus about what most interests the interviewer.
As a candidate, we don’t know what is the specific creteria that the interviewer need to fulfill the job requirement. So, the candidate need to find out something that may attrack the interviewer intention such as the value that they can give the company. It is not is easy to make it sound really interesting to them.
