“Soaring Upwards” is the battle cry of Malaysia’s Higher Education Ministry and the brainchild of Dato’ Seri Idris Jusoh. It signifies the tremendous improvements of Malaysia’s higher education landscape over the last decade while acknowledges that continued efforts are required to propel Malaysia even further. In this 14th MJIIT Leadership Lecture Series, the honourable minister will be sharing his views on the Malaysian Higher Education system, including its successes, challenges and what’s in store for the future. Minister will touch upon the implementation and progress of the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2015-2025 (Higher Education) which was launched April 2015, as well as how the ministry aims to develop holistic, entrepreneurial and balanced graduates. Minister will also explain what he wishes MJIIT students to contribute for the furtherance of Malaysian development under the Look East Policy 2.0.
