Academician & Researcher

Serving as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Electrical Power Engineering (POWER), Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FKE), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), and as a Research Fellow at the Centre of Electrical Energy Systems (CEES). The path began at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), where undergraduate studies were supported by the Public Service Department (JPA) Scholarship. This was followed by the MyBrain15 scholarship for master’s studies, and later by both the Skim Latihan Akademik Bumiputera (SLAB) and Skim Latihan Akademik Muda (SLAM) scholarships during doctoral research at UTM.

Alongside academic development, professional experience was gained through industry and public sector roles. At ASM Technology Sdn. Bhd., work as a Facilities Engineer involved managing infrastructure and maintenance systems for production reliability. Later, as an Electrical Engineer at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), responsibilities expanded to include energy consumption analysis, preventive maintenance, and technical coordination for campus operations.

These combined experiences now shape a research focus on renewable energy integration and optimization strategies for microgrid and multi-microgrid frameworks. The ongoing work aims to support Malaysia’s transition towards cleaner, more sustainable energy systems while addressing the practical challenges of reliability, efficiency, and implementation.
