Ts. Dr. Siti Pauliena Mohd Bohari is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Biosciences, Faculty of Science, and Head of Cosmeceutical and Fragrance Unit at Institute of Bioproduct Development, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). With a passion for natural product innovation, she explores the potential of local plants—especially Hibiscus sabdariffa (roselle)—to create sustainable and functional products for health and well-being. Her research spans nutraceuticals, wound care, and eco-friendly formulations that combine scientific rigor with community impact.

Beyond the lab, Dr. Siti Pauliena enjoys transforming her research into real-world applications, from developing roselle-based food and skincare innovations to mentoring students in creative, hands-on science. She is deeply committed to promoting sustainability, local resources, and knowledge sharing that benefits both academia and society.
