About Dr.Santhana

Dr. Santhana Krishnan.C is an expert in developing Engineering Technology for microbial bioprocess, wastewater treatment/recovery, and renewable energy. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Centre for Environmental Sustainability and Water Security (IPASA), Research Institute of Sustainable Environment (RISE), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) since February 2018. He received his Ph.D. degree in Biochemical Engineering from Universiti Malaysia Pahang,  in November 2017. In addition, he had done his Master Engineering Certification Course in Chemical engineering in 2012. He completed a Master’s degree (by course work) in Biotechnology from the University of Madras, in the year 2007 and his Bachelor degree specialized in Microbial Technology. Dr. Santhana has worked as a Senior Research Analyst for  India’s few Corporate Techies for 6 years after completing his master’s degree. Dr. Santhana’s research area is focused on engineering and technological aspects towards Renewable Energy, Biohydrogen, Biomethane, Bioreactors, Resource Recovery, Microbial Bioprocess, Wastewater Engineering, Chemical/Biotransformation, and Unit operations. He is one of the active reviewers in various International ISI journals.
