A senior lecturer at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He is appointed as one of the High Council in the Malaysian Engineering Durability Society (MyEDS) acting as the Honorary Deputy Treasurer. He is also a member of European Structural Integrity Society (ESIS) and also Reliability Engineering & Safety Assessment (RESA) research group. He obtained his Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and received the best academic award from Kiswire. He was offered and received Master with merit in Structural Engineering from the University of Sheffield United Kingdom in year 2016, and pursue his Doctorate journey which successfully completed receiving the Best Doctorate thesis award in year 2020. He is currently supervising a Master and Doctorate student respectively. He is elected to be the chairman for a national-level Conference of Engineering Durability (CED2022) for the year 2022. Recently, he has been invited as a speaker with one of the SpaceX sub-companies discussing on the human settlement on Mars.
