Biography

Dr. Siti Ruzita Mahmod received her Bachelor (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2008 and then worked as a qualified Physiotherapist in Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia until 2010. She then received an offer as a tutor in Faculty of Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor Bahru and an opportunity to pursue study in Master of Philosophy (Rehabilitation Technology) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia. After completing her master degree, she decided to settle down in Pasir Gudang, Johor and married with her loved one. Alhamdulillah after five years of marriage, she was grateful with the presence of two boys and with the continuous support from her husband and family members, she received her Ph.D. degree in Health Science from UTM in 2019. Her research interests including physiotherapy outcome measure, technology in rehabilitation, and biomechanics. Currently, she is a senior lecturer in School of Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, UTM.
