MS office 2016 for all (student/staff)

FYI,

Flow to get Ms Office 2016  (Windows or Mac OSX) – Students or staff UTM

  1. Users must have an account Office365 (account @ live.utm.my); If no, the admin needs to create and inform the user (email password generator to the consumer).
  2. Users need to go to http://mail.live.utm.my email to activate Office365.
  3. Click on the logo “Office 365” in the upper left corner, or go to the link,https://portal.office.com/OLS/MySoftware.aspx
  4. Select Platform (Mac or Windows or tablet) and Install.
  5. The file size of 1MB will be downloaded, click on the file and the installation process will be running (takes a long time – need an Internet connection)
  6. After the installation is complete, open a new Office application installed (Word, Powerpoint or Excel), activate the application by using a Live account username and password for the email Office365 (DO NOT USE THE INSERT KEY / SERIAL)
