For security purposes, we require that all UTM instructors and students to set their Turnitin account e-mail addresses to their official UTM Email (e.g staff – abc123@utm.my  OR student – xyz789@live.utm.my). Not doing so could could result in disruption of service.

If you previously registered using external e-mail accounts (i.e gmail.com, yahoo.com,hotmail.com etc), follow this instruction to update your email address to official UTM E-mail :

1. Log into your account.
2. Click the “User Info” link at the top of the page.
3. Modify necessary information.
4. Click the “submit” button.

You will receive an automated confirmation e-mail if you have changed your e-mail address or password.
