You Raised Me Up

Its my another birthday on 6th October, and you’re not here.. missing you and thinking about you a lot lately.

It’s almost 13 years.. we didn’t celebrate your birthday together. The most happiest days since i aware and remember your birthday on 25 February at age 9. I won’t missed to buy you a lavish present every year since i graduated and start earn money on my own since 1998. You’ll never asked for a new shirt and shoes on Eid Fitri but i will bought you at least 2, your favorite branded and comfy.

When i call you through phone, you won’t missed to ask and tell me “bila nak balik? Rumah ni dah bersepah takde siapa yang kemas”. I’ll never refuse, i try to make it as you asked for. Because i knew that, you missed me. You just wanna chat and shared stories & laugh together, go out for makan places. Lepak at Starbucks with your sarong and songkok haji.

When i was accepted by UiTM Jengka, you praised me so much, telling me the great place to study and asked me to join ko-Q ROTU @ KESATRIA as i pursue it and be a Commander, involved in activities most in deepest jungle and stream or waterfalls (hiking & mountain climbing). I’m continuing active in sports and students club like in high school. Be part of theatre group which you much neglected. As i hardly believe me and my group INTEKMA Pahang could achieved in great success on year 1995 – teater RAJA PENGEMIS goes flawlessly @ MATIC KL in 3rd place (peringkat kebangsaan). He just congratulate me and advise to focus more on studies back again. Then i try hard myself graduated even though i don’t like this course at all. Until now i managed to work at place you apply for it. I just came interview and alhamdulillah I was accepted here in UTM. Dengan izin Allah swt, diiringi doa dan harapan..

He’s the only One, my 1st love, my strength, my adorable politician, my hero, my saviour.. My ALL. My dad… ila arwahi almarhum Haji Hashim bin Haji Omar, alfatihah.

Love for lifetime and forever in my thoughts & doa always.
