I am a lecturer/Associate Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, School of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Teknologi Malaysia. I actively involved in research and publication of journal articles and books. My researches include the construction noise prediction using stochastic modeling, Rumble strips noise, workers’ noise exposure and development of natural fibers sound absorbers. We have received several research awards such as MTE 2021 (GOLD MEDAL), ITEX2016 (Gold medal), MTE2015 (Gold medal), IPHEX 2015 (Silver medal), ICAN2016 (Gold medal), MRCIE 2015(Gold medal), & MRCIE(Best project).Gold Medal, Malaysia

I am also interested in publishing books. One of our book’s “Construction Sites: Issues, Measurements and Prediction” published by Penerbit UTM Press, had been awarded as Best Scholarly Book for the category Science, Technical and Medicine along with cash, a plaque and a certificate at 2018 MAPIM-KPM awards ceremony organized by the Ministry of Education under the Malaysian Council of Scholarly Publishers (Majlis Penerbitan Ilmiah Malaysia, MAPIM).

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROJECT AT SEKOLAH KEBANGSAAN KAMPONG PASIR (10/3/2020):
“Google map of Sekolah Keb Kampong Pasir”

Also, we have successfully developed an economic soundproof classroom at Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampong Pasir, Tampoi, Johor Bahru in our endeavor to reduce noise pollution coming from the traffic. This is the first of its kind installed in Johor State’s school. The project was realized through community engagement between the Department of Education of Johor, Education Ministry of Malaysia, Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampong Pasir, Sanjung Sempurna Sendirian Bhd, and Vibrant Echo.
