 The product is the first of its kind, there’s nothing else like it anywhere. It was  developed by using stochastic modelling approach that take into account uncertainties of acoustic and movement of  sources and random movement of workers. The product have worn  national and international medals  including MRCIE 2015, MTE  2015, ITEX 2016 and ICAN 2016.  Noise map provides important information for noise environment and noise risk for workers as well as people live vicinity of open site activities.  

Receiving award from Prof Dr Zaidatun Tasir

 Mohd Hanifi Othman (Final Year PHD student) won 2 place at The Three Minute Thesis Competition 2013. He received RM1000.00. The competition  aims at assessing the students’ capacity to communicate ideas effectively. It is intended to enhance the development of academic and research communication skills. Selected PhD Research Students have three minutes to present a compelling oration on their thesis topic and its significance, in language appropriate to non-specialist audience.

She was succesfuly passed her viva. title of her research : AUTOMATED PREDICTION OF NOISE FROM CONSTRUCTION SITE USING STOCHASTIC APPROACH. Internal examiner: Assoc Prof Dr Ngasri Dimon, External examiner: Assoc Prof Dr Halimah. Chairman for the Viva: Ass. Prof Ir Dr Rosli Mohd Zin. She has been awarded best student award.
