Zanariah Jasmani is a senior lecturer at the Dept. of Landscape Architecture UTM. She started her career as a Tutor at the university in 2008 then pursue her master´s study in Land Resource Management at the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) from 2009 until 2011. She received the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in October 2016 from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
Her research areas are ecological landscape design, urban greening and urban ecology, biocultural landscape, nature conservation and landscape technology. She is currently supervising four final year undergraduates in landscape architecture.
She is the Head of Research Group Heritage Landscape (HELA) at the Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (FABU).
On 2021, she being appointed as the program coordinator for postgraduate study at FABU for Master of Philoshopy Landscape Architecture and Doctor of Philosophy in Landscape Architecture.
