Zulkarnain Abdul Latiff is currently seconded to Automotive Development Center (ADC), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), as a Fellow Researcher and Consultant. Still servicing School of Mechanical Engineering (SME), UTM as a Senior Lecturer and handling courses related to Thermodynamics field. Zulkarnain first appointment at UTM as Assistant Lecturer ‘B’ at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (FME) after completion his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in 1985. As an academician he pursues his study up to PhD level in the same field and was awarded the degree in 2011 from UTM. Areas of expertise and interest are Internal Combustion Engine, Engine Performance and Combustion Test, Energy Efficiency and Thermodynamics Related Studies. Zulkarnain as a Consultant together with ADC team members has done quite a number of testing for the industries regarding after-market product and component related to fuel and engine.
