Assoc. Prof. Dr. Corrienna binti Abdul Talib is a senior lecturer in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Skudai Johor. She is from the Department of Educational Sciences, Mathematics, and Creative Multimedia, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.

She was born and raised in Kajang, Selangor. Dr. Corrienna received her primary education in SK Convent Kajang and continued her studies at SMK Agama Persekutuan (SMAP) Kajang. Then, she received her bachelor in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 1998. Her education journey stopped for a while as she pursued her passion for being an elementary school teacher at SMK Tat Beng and SMK Tengku Menteri in Perak. Nevertheless, she retired from being a secondary school teacher and embarked on her mission to continue her studies at Universiti Sains Malaysia for a Master’s and PhD while working at SEAMEO RECSAM, Penang.

Her deep passion is in STEAM education, environmental sustainability, thinking skills, assessment, as well as technology and innovation. She has been invited as a keynote and plenary speaker, facilitator, and trainer locally and internationally. She develops and participates in numerous projects, seminars, workshops, conferences, and talks to create a technology-thinking community among teachers and students. In fact, she has won multiple awards and a 5-star rating project with continuous support from her family and friends. In the future, Dr. Corrienna hopes to make great contributions in her area of interest as well as through her projects, MyGambot and Scratchtopia Challenge, to enhance critical thinking skills, collaboration, communication, and creative thinking skills.

She hopes that one day, her passion will bring significant impact in education world and develop smart and sharp nations.
