Dr. Nurul Ezaila Alias is a senior lecturer at the School of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in Malaysia since the year 2014. She has then received her PhD degree in Electrical Engineering & Information System from The University of Tokyo (2014). Since 2016, she is a member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Society and The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM). She is in the reviewer of several International Journals for IEEE Transactions on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) Systems for 3 years until now. She has co-authored in more than 40 journals and conference proceedings. She has collaborated with industries namely INTEL (Malaysia), MIMOS (Malaysia) and Freescale Semiconductor (Malaysia) as well as academic institutions namely the University of Tokyo (Japan). She has secured a number of research grants locally and internationally.

Award & Publication

Dr. Nurul Ezaila Alias is also very active in supervising postgraduate students both local and international students. She has co-authored in more than 40 journals and conference proceedings. Her research interests include advanced TCAD simulations and analysis of semiconductor devices, design techniques of FET-based Memory Application, Variability and Reliability Issue in Nanoscale FET Device. Reliability issue involves simulation and measurement framework. She has collaborated with industries namely INTEL (Malaysia), MIMOS (Malaysia) and Freescale Semiconductor (Malaysia) as well as academic institutions namely the University of Tokyo (Japan). She has secured a number of research grants locally and internationally.
