I have interests in molecular biochemistry and microbiomes, with applications in enviromental sciences and renewable energy generation.

Current Positions
1. Associate Professor, Department of Biosciences, Faculty of Science, UTM.
2. Group Member, Environmental Biotechnology Research Group (EnVBiotech), UTM.
3. Manager (External and Global Engagement), Faculty of Science, UTM.
4. Associate Fellow, Centre for Environmental Sustainability and Water Security (IPASA), Research Institute for Sustainable Environment (RISE), UTM.

Past Positions
1. Post-doctoral visiting scientist, Swarup Lab (https://smbl.nus.edu.sg/index.html), part of the NUS Environmental Research Institute (NERI), National University of Singapore. Duration:  January 2019-January 2021.
