About Me

*I am now undergoing my post-doctoral training in the Swarup Lab (https://smbl.nus.edu.sg/index.html), part of the NUS Environmental Research Institute (NERI), National University of Singapore from January 2019-January 2021. My work here involves the culturomics of plant-associated microbiomes, focusing on green leafy vegetables. Read about it here.

I have interests in environmental and molecular biochemistry, specifically the biochemistry of heat shock protein 47 (HSP47), biorenewable energy, and biodegradation of pollutants. My laboratory also characterises industrially-relevant microbiomes using metagenomics methods.
