The Statistics Panel at the Department of Mathematical Sciences is organizing a series of R workshops to enhance users R skills with a solid statistical understanding. R is a free software environment and is rapidly becoming the leading programming language in statistics and data science. Statisticians, analysts, scientists and engineers use R language to help them to analyze, model and visualize large, and complex data sets. In addition, R provides users access to create new programming codes using the latest statistical methodologies in understanding data. The number of R users has been growing rapidly and an increasing number of organizations are on the look out for promising employees with R skills.
