I was an invited speaker for the ladies in engineering during 12 noon to 2 pm luncheon talk, at the Mechanical Engineering Faculty of UiTM Shah Alam. The program Women in Engineering was held today, 8 December 2017. The program was attended by four women engineering lecturers from Mechanical and Civil Engineering Faculties and about 80 female engineering students from a mixture of faculties including Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Chemical Engineering. It was organized by the engineering students society. Representing UTM Razak School and IEM Women Engineering Section, included in my talk are topics of engineering, engineering education, further education and IEM. Delivering subject matter close to my heart, using the power of inner speech to make choices in engineering career and in life generally, I ended the session by inviting Ir Yap, a colleque from IEM WE to share the benefits of becoming IEM members, particularly as student members.
