Digital Marketing is always been my favourite subject to teach. There’s a lot to learn, from theory to some practise. As a person that do digital marketing for some organization, my experience started way back when I was in Putra Business School.
Digital marketing is the component of marketing that utilizes internet and online based digital technologies such as desktop computers, mobile phones and other digital media and platforms to promote products and services. We still use the fundamental knowledge of marketing- the platform is now changed. And with the changes (electronic platform), there are many issues and new knowledge emerged. One of the new things is on data analytics.
So digital analytics cover digital marketing planning, digital content creation, digital marketing engagement activties and also optimization. the latter is on marketing analytics.
I have been teaching digital marketing since 2013. I have revised and improved my teaching approach and notes since then. I also blend in my experience in managing digital marketing for some organization, like UTM AHIBS.
This semester, I will be teaching digital marketing for Open Distance Learning course.
