It is not easy to be the upholders of law, ethics and morality. There are pressures, stress and not to forget the need to be just a step ahead of the scoundrels who pokes law in the eye and laugh.
As future leaders of our country and players of the world, I believe that thinking process is of utmost importance. The days of spitting out exactly the knowledge you receive should have long past us. What is the use of the skill in using a tool, but no competence in interpreting the outcome produced by that tool? Our students should be able, no…they MUST be able to think critically.
To that end, I devised a fun exercise in my Computer Forensics class. The objective is to be able to think “like a criminal” in order to understand at least the workings of one. Students are asked to get me RM1 Million in 1 month, by any means necessary.
