Here is where it highlights the technical skills you will need. Understand them and look at where you may excel and where you may not. It is good to know that to better sell yourself as the best candidate. It also helps you to know what to practice and refresh your knowledge and skills too.
The second part of the advertisement shows the professional skills the employer is looking for. These are what you look for to tailor your experiences and achievement to, within your resume. This is also helpful in answering interview questions. Show them how you are creative, through examples where your creativity (through competitions, work responsibilities, assignments and projects, etc). When answering interview questions, keep these characteristics (the professional skills) in mind, and try to gear your answers to it as best you can.
Learn to read job advertisement carefully. If there are one or two things on it that you do not know, enhance on those that you do. Lookup the ones you don’t know and do a little research – even if you may not be skilled in it, at least you know of it and will learn to be more experienced.
