Here is a checklist of what you need to do and what you need to submit as the final step of your Final Year project journey.
Please submit:
Hardbound Thesis and CD needs to be prepared for 4 COPIES :
A. Submission to the Academic Office:
- ONE Hardbound Thesis
- ONE copy of CD
B. Submission to the Supervisor:
- ONE Hardbound Thesis
- ONE copy of CD
C. For Department PSM Coordinator:
- ONE Hardbound Thesis
- ONE copy of CD
- One printed Poster (Size A3) – hardcopy **Note: Softcopy of poster is inside all CDs
D. For Student copy (Optional):
i. ONE Hardbound Thesis
ii. ONE copy of CD
Compulsory: University requirement– All PSM2 students are also requested to submit the FYP-One page Synopsis (by using a template which can be downloaded from PSM website). Burn the file into your CD.
For your CDs, please ensure to include the following:
- IP forms
- Project poster (use PSM template). For template, click here.
- Short paper (in .DOC format please). For template, click here.
- Complete report (in .DOC and PDF format please)
- Abstracts (in PDF format please)
- Complete system files and source codes ==> don’t forget a readme file as a guide.
- Prototype
Submission Procedure:
1 – Complete the compilation and binding. **Make sure all formatting is right. You don’t want to have to re-bind your thesis.
2- Submit one set to the Academic Office, get them to sign the Thesis Submission form (TSF)
3- Submit one set to your SV, get him/her to sign the Thesis Submission form (TSF)
4- Submit one set to the PSM2 Coordinator, get her to sign the Thesis Submission form (TSF)
5- All done.
**Note: You need 1 TSF only, signed by all.
