NetXplorace is a class activity for the Computer Network Class. It is done to support and enhance team-working and thinking skills. Students work together in groups, helping each other out, to prepare for the half-day ‘race’. The game mimics The Amazing Race, in that students will need to solve clues to find the next stop, and complete tasks at stops before going forward. As the name, tasks are related to Computer Networks. This event is supported by the School of Computing UTM.

While teams (mostly second year students) are preparing and running, the event is also supported in its operations by other SCSR students – 1st years, 3rd years and Master students (an SCSR alumni). I felt that the SCSR community came together and am happy in the interactions between the different cohorts. In fact, some (if not most) of the current teams were excited to be volunteers in the next installment of NetXplorace (2020). Thank you everyone!

Prizes were given to the top three finishers. Congratulations to the teams.

Here are some pictures of the event.
