Presentations, some say, is not everyone’s cup of tea. I beg to differ. If you care, you can present. Understandably, jitters will be there, but practice can help with that.
I believe in my quote you see above. There are 4 pillars of successful, even great presentations.
People
It could be an individual or a team, but people are important. Presentations are all about people sharing with other people. If only one person listens to your presentation, that person is important.
Idea
What is it that you want to share? How do you plan to share it with the different people?
Passion
You have to care. When you care for something, you will do everything within your power to be the best that you can be. In this case, to give the best presentation you can.
Preparations
Preparations comes in introducing the idea, creating the presentation media, understanding the people, knowing the presentation space (venue, hardware), even practicing your pitch. With preparation comes confidence. With confidence, you can tackle any presentation.
