Studying smart is always better than studying smart. We all have the same 24 hours, but the ones who uses it wisely gets a lot done and with quality too.
One of the way to use your time more smartly is to prepare for classes.
Before Class. Read-up on the materials to be covered in class. Not sure what to read? Check out the Course Outline (it will be in your course’s e-learning site). By preparing, you build a frame of understanding that you may later strengthen your understanding.
In class. Come to class. That is very important. Physical presence can enhance the presence of mind. Pay attention and ask when unsure. Take notes (scribble, doodle, snap pictures, mind map – you can do it any which way you like).
After class. Before 24 hours is up, review what you learned. Remember the frame you had before? Now you are putting up the hard walls of knowledge. It will also help you detect things you are unsure of, or misunderstood. Bring this up when you next meet your lecturer (in class or make an appointment).
Try it out and you’ll see the difference. Good luck!
