I was invited to present a paper titled “BIM and Genetic Algorithm optimisation for sustainable building envelope design” in the 2nd International Conference on Building Information Modelling (BIM) in Design, Construction and Operations, on 10 – 12 May 2017 in Alicante, Spain. I was also an International Scientific Advisory Committee (ISAC) member and the chair of one of the presentation session in the conference.
Besides, the conference delegates had opportunity to visit Orihuela which is a very old town, founded at the time of the Visigoths and expanded during the Arab domination period.
I have been invited as one of the international scientific advisory committee members for the 2nd International Conference on Building Information Modelling (BIM) in Design, Construction and Operations, which will be held on 10-12 May 2017 in Alicante, Spain.
After attending GreenRE Manager’s course on 5-7 March 2014 and passing the exam on 22 March 2014, I’m really grateful to receive the certification as GreenRE Manager. Besides, would like to acknowledge the sponsorship from ISI-UTM.
Give thanks to God that my paper titled “Evaluation on Sustainability and Occupants’ Perceived Health in Malaysian Terraced Houses” has received the Best Technical Paper Award in International Conference on Sustainable Building Asia (SB13), on 8-10 July 2013, at Seoul Palace Hotel, Seoul, South Korea.

A group of delegates from UTM had presented their papers in 1st Asia Future Conference, on 8-10 March 2013, at Centara Grand, Central Plaza Ladprao, Bangkok, Thailand.
Thank God that my paper co-authored with Prof. Dr. Mohd Hamdan Ahmad and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Syed Iskandar, titled “University-industry Research Collaboration on Development of Green Mosque Design” has received the Best Paper Award.
