CFD-based hydrodynamic analysis of ship maneuvering in calm water for KCS containership
Objectives:
1. To make evaluation on the ship maneuvering of a ship using Japanese MMG maneuvering model using CFD.
2. To make validation between results from CFD and numerical simulation using FORTRAN and experiment data.
Scopes:
1. Find and select available solvers for in openFOAM CFD for the ship maneuvering in calm water.
2. Make comparison and validation with available experiments data from Hiroshima University team.
